I learned bootmaking almost a decade ago now, and every pair I make shows new sophistication of technique and skill. I can see the growth in craftsmanship in each pair, and every time I send them to the client, I feel like I’m releasing a new life into the world! A pair of boots can take 60-200 hours depending on the intricacy of the design work. I spend a lot of time with these objects in varying stages of them being done. They spend a lot of time with me, and then they spend a lifetime with you. From the wrinkles in the leather to the worn-down heels… I start your story by making your dream boots, and you tell the rest by wearing them to adventures, occasions, and core memories.
